Paralysis  is the condition involved in loss of function for one or more muscles in part of body. That may be accompanied  by sensory loss and loss of feeling.
Paralysis  result of metabolic disturbances  that interfere with  function of nervous  or muscles. Paralysis may affects a specific muscle group or region of the body at any time in a persons life.

Types of Paralysis:

Monoplegia: 
        monoplegia effects on one part of the body. Such as arm  or frequently in limb.     
HemiPlegia:
   Effects on the same side of the body. It is caused by injury to brain that  control movements of limbs, face, trunk etc.. it causes right or left side. Generally injury to  left side of  brain will cause right hemiplegic paralysis  and  right injury to cause left hemiplegic paralysis.

Quadriplegia:
                 
        Effects paralysis of all four limbs.  Its primarley injury of spinal cord. Patient  completely  quadriplegia  has no ability  to move  any part of the body below the neck.

Paraplegia:
        A complete paralysis of legs. Paraplegia  involves  a loss of sensation and  movements in the legs in a part or  all of the trunk.

Sleep paralysis:
       You are awake   unable to move or speak for few minutes. Sleep paralysis  does not cause  any harm. Sleep paralysis  can affect  people of all ages. But it more in teenagers and adults. Men and women equally affected.

Flaccid paralysis:
    It occurs in limp muscles, weakness or loss of muscle tone  resulting  from  injury or disease. Muscle cannot contract at all.  This can cause  serious problems, breathing controlled by  in diaphragm.

Spastic  paralysis:
Spastic paralysis is  a muscle control disorder, that is characterised by  tight or stiff of muscles and inability to  control  these muscles.

Periodic paralysis:
       It is a group of rare genetic disease that leads to paralysis, periodic paralysis  is  found in  equal to men and women.
